No matter what type of construction your company does, be it; siding, roofing installation, painting, drywall, maintenance or remodeling; our Ladder Jack & Plank supports make it a snap to set up a safe and secure scaffold in nothing flat. Simply slide the rung mount over the ladder rungs, slip in the pin and clip to lock the Ladder Jack into place, and then level the platform body arm and lock it into place. Now slip your plank onto the platform arm, and adjust the arm’s built-in end stop to capture the plank. That’s all there is to it!
Our Ladder Jack & Plank supports come in sets of two (2) and are super-strong, constructed with extruded aluminum. The Rung Grips are both Welded and Riveted for extra strength. The result is a support that’s rated for 250lb, Type I duty, and can be used with all Type I or Type IA extension ladders -- on either the inner or outer face.
The platform arm on each Ladder Jack has 9 possible positions, making it easy to level your planks. Two models are available, one to handle planks up to 18" wide (2 rung mount) or 22" wide (3 rung mount). Both models include a built-in, adjustable end stop that captures the plank.
The Ladder Jack mounts to the ladder by slipping it over the ladder rungs. The LJ-SB-02 mounts to adjacent rungs (see the photo above); the LJ-LB-03 mounts on 3 rungs, giving it added stability for greater platform widths. Our unique, non-jamming rung grips, make our Ladder Jacks easier to remove and reposition than others. Once in place, the plank support locks in place with a pin and clip. And when it’s time to take down your scaffold, our Ladder Jacks fold flat for easy transport or storage.
